Bushisms

Last night Bush said, “The success of our country depends upon helping newcomers assimilate into our society, and embrace our common identity as Americans. Americans are bound together by our shared ideals, an appreciation of our history, respect for the flag we fly, and an ability to speak and write the English language.”

I can hear the snide liberals snickering, “Haha, by that criteria, Bush isn’t American because he can’t speak English.”

On a side-thought, isn't it funny to see Bush ask for other people to learn English? Shouldn't he go first?

That kind of stuff burns my ass. You’re wondering what’s the matter with Kansas? It’s this type of elitist crap that turns people off. Grumble. Grumble. Grumble.

Oh yeah, I'm also pissed at Bush for rampant nationalism.
