This latest round of fighting in the Middle East is really getting to me. Since having kids of my own, I have an even harder time seeing children getting killed or injured. And I'm tired of hearing the same old shit from our government about protecting Isreal's sovereignty and not negotiating with terrorists.

This war doesn't need to happen. It's bullshit that the US and Iran are using Isreal and Hezbollah to fight a proxy war.
Of course being powerless to make a change to the situation just adds to my despair and anger.
