I'd give em headbutts!

The only thing I have to say about this whole Zidane thing is that that was not a headbutt. A headbutt means head-to-head contact. That was something else.

I disagree about the meaning. To me, the "head" part of "headbutt" just refers to the tool, not the target.

However, the Swedish term "Dansk skalle" exclusively means forehead to forehead action.

I can say "headbutt to the chest" without feeling like I contradicted myself, but by itself "headbutt" means to me what it does to you. Conversational implicature?

I'm so glad you mentioned Otway. Ever since Sunday's game I can't get that song out of my head (butt). I'm now searching for an .mp3 ...
