It's about two weeks into my year of living like myself and I have to say that things are going swimmingly. I feel more like myself than ever before.
However, there is one little issue that I think needs to be cleared up. Some people seem to have gotten the impression that I am a new Ed. That this little experiment is a turning over of a new leaf. Let me reassure you that nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, If I am able to pull this thing off, the casual observer should notice no difference at all between the Ed pre-year of living like myself and the Ed during the year of living like myself.
The only difference between the two will be internal. During this year, I will be consciously living like myself. Every action I take will be recognizable as an Ed-like action. In fact, if I hadn't announced this experiment here, no one would know the difference. However, rather than just blindly going along being myself, I am going to be myself with purpose!
Let's hope I can do this--especially if I can get a book deal out of it.

Hate to bust your bubble Eddie, but one Ed Begley has written a book already about living like Ed. You'll have to change your name.
Ed who?
Ed Begley (could be Begeley). Actor most well known for his role on St Elsewhere a LONG time ago. He has been an environmental activist in Cali for decades. If you saw a picture you would recognize him.
