I'm in Seattle for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy meeting. There's a long involved story behind how I got here. But I really don't feel like talking about it.
I will say that downtown Seattle is like a mall. It's pretty sad. I figured I'd get to enjoy some quirky little places to eat out here but it's all chains. I admit I even went to Starbucks. It's all I could find. Please don't hate me.
Anyway, the perspective I'm getting on America's healthcare system is that it is a complex system that could really use some centralization. too bad that will never happen.
